Speaker: RUSS BARNTHOUSE, P.E.

Russ has 19 years experience in the HVACR industry in a variety of roles. He holds a BSME degree from University of Missouri-Columbia and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Missouri. He worked as a Sales Engineer and Senior Supermarket Application Engineer during his 16 years with the Sporlan Division of Parker Hannifin. He then went on to help start the refrigeration engineering team at Henderson Engineers in Kansas City where he was a consultant to several supermarket chains including Wal-Mart. While consulting with Wal-Mart, he participated in the development of their current protypical and high efficiency store designs. Today, Russ is the Vice President of Sales at United Refrigeration, a nation-wide HVACR wholesale distribution company. He has been a member of ASHRAE for 19 years and proudly spent 14 of those years as a member of the St. Louis Chapter. Despite growing up and currently living in Kansas City he is a St. Louis Cardinals fan!
