Building Performance Measurement
LEED certified buildings are promoted as energy-efficient, but how are energy savings determined in operating buildings? The USGBC made changes to LEED 3.0 that place additional emphasis on energy-efficiency and actual building performance. New minimum program requirements mandate sharing energy use information with the USGBC. The Building Performance Measurement class outlines the basics of building performance measurement and why it is important to buildings designers and owners. "This is the short version of the Measuring Building Performance class that he will be teaching at Greenbuild 2010 on Friday afternoon 11/19/10."
